Learning Tree Therapy CentreProviding Relationship Based, Developmentally Focused, Multidisciplinary Therapy Services for Children with Autistic Spectrum Disorders & other Disorders of Relating and communicating.
The Learning Tree Therapy Centre (LTTC) comprises a group of allied heath professionals including; Kathy Walmsley, (Sensory Connections Occupational Therapy Services), and Anne Nunn, (Speech and Language Pathology Services).
Our approach focuses on helping children master the building blocks of relating, communicating, thinking, and learning.
LTCC is an authorised service provider on the Early Intervention Service Provider Panel under the FaHCSIA Helping Children with Autism Package. This funding package provides up to $12,000 /child ($6,000 per year over two years) to enable families to access early intervention services for children under the age of six diagnosed with an autistic spectrum disorder. We are providers for the Medicare rebates for allied therapy services for children with Autism (20 visit limit), with the Medicare Enhanced Primary Care Scheme (EPC) 5 visits, & with the major private health insurance funds. We are also providers for the Medicare New Initiative in Mental Health Care Scheme (MHCP) for psychology and mental health occupational therapy services.
